The R 1250 RS is better than ever for 2023; the sports-touring Boxer is more comfortable, more dynamic, and an even better value! You now get even more as standard features, including Dynamic Traction Control, ABS Pro, and Dynamic Brake Control. Redesigned LED turn signals and a second USB socket with a 5-volt power supply also now come on every R 1250 RS. There are also some brand new optional features such as a solo seat with rear cover and Option 719 spoke wheels. As before, the legendary 2-cylinder boxer engine provides powerful propulsion. BMW's ShiftCam technology for varying valve timing and valve lift on the intake side gives the R 1250 RS power across the entire engine speed range. Regardless of road conditions, this bike is smooth and quiet running. It's got great fuel economy, and for 2023 has a new standard ride mode called Eco, which encourages riders to ride as fuel-efficiently as possible. This ride mode has been added to the Rain and Road modes to form a trio of driving options for owners. The way it works is while you are in Eco mode, the TFT color display provides an efficiency rating so riders know just how much fuel they’re using at a given moment.  For maximum performance - such as riding uphill - the ride mode button can be used to switch from ECO quickly and easily to a different ride mode. There is also an upgraded Riding Modes Pro that comes with the Premium package upgrade. This provides even more individually configurable riding modes. The Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), also part of the Premium Package, is another new component of the Pro riding mode. It can be used to safely avoid unstable riding conditions. This BMW model gets a new colorway with two optional style designs for 2023. Light White with a black frame is standard. The optional Sport Style gives you the Light White with Racing Blue and Racing Red paint, a Light White frame, gold front and rear brake calipers, and a blue front spoiler.
