The BMW Touring Club of Detroit a the charter club (MOA #1) of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (MOA). This is an organization of motorcycle enthusiasts in and around the Detroit metropolitan area. The members of this club plan a variety of riding excursions in and around Michigan and beyond throughout the year. Sunday breakfast gatherings at a different location 52 weeks a year is just one of the staples of this club since it's inception in 1968. Did you know that the very first president of the BMW Touring Club of Detroit was instrumental in creating the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America...and was the first MOA President? New members get a free one year membership to the BMW TCD with the purchase of a new motorcycle from BMW Detroit.

The BMW Motorcycle Owner's Association is an nationwide organization of like-minded BMW motorcycle enthusiasts. With an annual membership you are given access to a plethora of information, tips and a large friendly community. Along with your membership you're provided with a magazine subscription to their very own BMW MOA magazine and a variety of traveling discounts and tips! Founded in 2016, MSTR has nearly 200 active participants, including representation from several midwestern states as well as Canada. While our riders own all makes and models of motorcycles, from Aprilia to Yamaha, our common bond is our passion for riding. The members of MSTR, known to us as MSTRiders, travel to great riding destinations both near and far, becoming better riders and building camaraderie along the way.
The BMW RA is guided by a dedicated, responsive and highly motivated board of volunteer members, who are easily accessible to all club members. We encourage continuous training, dependable gear, and building a community of knowledge sharing whether through meaningful two-way communication with the club members, through our club magazine On The Level (OTL), member forums, and direct communications with the board members.
Since 1924, the AMA has protected the future of motorcycling and promoted the motorcycle lifestyle. AMA members come from all walks of life, and they navigate many different routes on their journey to the same destination: freedom on two wheels. As the world’s largest motorcycling organization, the AMA advocates for motorcyclists’ interests in the halls of local, state and federal government, the committees of international governing organizations, and the court of public opinion.
Through member clubs, promoters and partners, the AMA sanctions more motorsports competition and motorcycle recreational events than any other organization in the world. Through the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, the AMA preserves the heritage of motorcycling for future generations. AMA members receive money-saving discounts from dozens of well-known suppliers of motorcycle services, gear and apparel, bike rental, transport, hotel stays and more. The AMA is everything motorcycle.

Motor City Beemers was founded in 1994 to pursue, promote, and protect the interests of BMW motorcyclists. We also seek to develop better and more enthusiastic relations with the general public and the operators and riders of all motorcycles.
