Design Features of the BMW S1000 RR
Feel the road like never before with the 2024 BMW S 1000 RR's compact and sporty design. BMW has given it a makeover with redesigned trim panels featuring M RR-inspired winglets, locking down that front wheel when you're gunning it so you can take on corners like a pro and unleash some serious power without worrying about wheelies. These specially adapted winglets generate up to 37.7 lbs of downforce at 186 mph, countering front-wheel lift during acceleration. That means they're there to keep that front wheel firmly on the ground when you're revving up, ensuring you can accelerate like a champ without any pesky front-wheel lift. Other design features include a front end with an aerodynamically optimized windscreen, LED lights, an easily removable license plate carrier, and so much more! Lastly, when it comes to colors, buyers get three great options. Black Storm Metallic gives the bike a menacing, nearly all-black look. Going with the 'Passions' color option features 'Racing Red' on the tank, front, rear and side fenders. And the Light White/M Motorsport model is perfect for riders who love the 'BMW' red, white and blue!

An innovative flashing gearshift indicator on the tachometer further enhances shift precision. Other standard features of the S1000 RR include ABS PRO, Dynamic Traction Control, Hill Start Control, and a 6.5" TFT-Display.
What Type of Power does the S 1000 RR Get?
Unleash the racer within! The 2024 RR's BMW ShiftCam engine, boasting 205 horsepower, channels motorsport DNA inherited from the M RR. An M RR-derived airbox optimizes airflow, while new cylinder head channels and reinforced bearing brackets enhance performance and reliability. The upgraded Shift Assistant Pro now allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts with improved load change damping for ultra-precise gear changes. Finally, a 46-tooth rear sprocket, again taken from the M RR, translates raw power into blistering straight-line acceleration. Torque comes in at 83 lb-ft at 11,000 rpm and the bike can go from 0-6 in 3.1 seconds!
