Owner
Lincoln Phillip is a charismatic and enthusiastic character who will give you a warm welcome when you meet him. Lincoln has a law degree and is also the General Manager of Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep. He rides a 2020 BMW R1250GSA and is an avid huntsman, pilot, scuba diver and spends much of his downtime in Charlevoix, relaxing on the lake. Lincoln is dedicated to making BMW Detroit the best BMW motorcycle dealership in the country.

JB joined us in March of 2025 and instantly fit right in. JB has decades of experience leading dealerships and his calm and friendly manner is a perfect fit for BMW Detroit. A talented rider and knowledge of the motorcycle industry makes him ideal to lead the professionals at BMW Detroit, where everyone is family. His laid back manner and quick wit make him a pleasure to work with. Everyone loves JB!

Jennifer brings a bundle of energy to her role as Sales Manager, and her passion for BMW Motorcycles is instantly contagious. A familiar face in the BMW MOA community, she serves as a BMW MOA Director, BMW MOA Ambassador, BMW MOA Regional Coordinator, and President of the BMW Motorcycle Touring Club of Detroit. She has hosted the Women Rider Seminar at the last 4 BMW MOA National Rallies, and you can find her every December bringing her 6 foot Christmas Tree home on her R1300GSA. With more than 43 years of riding experience, Jennifer owns an impressive collection of 10 BMW motorcycles—including her 2025 BMW R1300GSA—and racks up over 30,000 miles every year. When meeting Don for the first time, you will see a quiet, unassuming character, but still waters run deep with Don. An avid off-road and trials rider, Don has ridden in many remote areas on planet earth, not only on his GS, but in his vintage Land Rover and his specialized Toyota camping truck. Every customer that deals with Don always has the same opinion: “Don is the ONLY person I would ever let work on my bike.” With 50 years of wrenching on BMW motorcycles, a better mechanic you would be hard pressed to find!
Gerhardt Vikar
Service Technician
"Gary" comes with over 30 years of wrenching experience and rides a 1996 BMW R1100RSL and a 2014 R1200RT. He came from another European motorcycle company to pursue his passion of BMW Motorcycles. He is a Level 1 BMW Tech and Gerhardt's passions include military re-enactments, computers, working with 3D printers and building models. We are so excited to have him here.
Tad Tjernagel
Service Technician and Master Mechanic
Tad is a Level 3 BMW tech, and comes to us from a BMW Motorrad dealer in California. Tad and his wife moved home to Michigan to raise their two small children and is a delightful addition to our team. He is not only a highly skilled BMW tech, he has the moves on the racetrack on his BMW S1000RR, and he is has a passion for glass blowing and miniature model painting.

Maureen Weiland
Accounting Manager
We are very happy to welcome Maureen to the team. The first thing you notice about Maureen is her kind, warm and friendly manner. She is highly experienced in all things accounting, bookkeeping and sales and fell right into the job with ease. Maureen loves to garden and travel with her husband. She also likes Pina Coladas, getting caught in the rain, but she isn't much into yoga :)
Mats Ceder
Sales Associate
Mats is a highly skilled off-road rider, as evidenced from his profile picture. He was a Rawhyde Adventures Ambassador and is an Oakland County Marine Sheriff's Deputy. Mats is originally from Sweden and has a very calm manner, but don't let that fool you...he is also a certified commercial pilot and a technical scuba diver. Look for future off-road rides that Mats will lead with the BMW Touring Club of Detroit.
